Lumbar Release
This practice works directly into the lumbar spine and its surrounding architecture - psoas, erector spinae, the deep stabilisers most of us never consciously feel. We're creating enough space and awareness here that the nervous system can register safety in this region. In the yogic body, this area sits close to mūlādhāra and svādhiṣṭhāna - the seat of grounding and the seat of flow; when theres stickiness here, both can feel harder to access. Who's this for: Anyone who sits for long stretches, carries tension in the low back, or notices their practice feels blocked at the base of the spine before it can move anywhere else. Equally suited to a seasoned practitioner wanting something more anatomically precise than a generic "stretch it out" sequence.
