Find My Way is a 5-class series designed to guide you into the complexity and beauty of Compass Pose. Not just by stretching more, but by refining your nervous system’s map of your body. This is a programme for curious movers, hypermobile bodies, and anyone seeking to build strength, orientation, and access in rotation and extension.
Through a unique blend of brain-based drills (like eye tracking, proprioceptive training, and cranial nerve stimulation) and movement sequences targeting hips, hamstrings, core, and shoulders, each class builds a clearer pathway toward the shape. You’ll work with clarity, not force. You’ll strengthen your sense of direction, both physically and internally.
Lessons
Work through them in order.
Lesson 1Mapping the Compass
Video·17 min
Theme: Shoulder Orientation + Trunk Rotation
In this opening preparatory class we sharpen the connection between your brain and body through rotational and lateral movement, layered with visual and respiratory drills to deepen access and awareness. This is a class about tuning in, finding clear, efficient pathways through the spine and shoulders, so your nervous system feels safe expanding into new range.
We begin with spinal twists and side bends paired with eye movements ("eye snaps") to strengthen your body's map of where it is in space. Then, we add layers of breath work, to shoulder flexion drills, building both mobility and resilience. Using the wall as feedback, you’ll explore deep side bends with thoracic spine mobility drills, refining control and creating space. We finish in a grounded seated Tree Pose variation, inviting a softer integration of the lateral lines and a recalibrated sense of upright.Locked — subscribe to unlock
Lesson 2Axis of Me
Video·12 min
Theme: Hip mapping + Oblique Strength
In Axis of Me, we drop into the hips and side body to build the internal scaffolding needed for Compass Pose. This class focuses on mapping your pelvis in space and strengthening the obliques, the powerful muscles that help you twist, side-bend, and stabilise from your center. We begin in a deep sumo squat to explore your range and connection to the ground. From there, we build active awareness with slow, intentional hip circles and side-to-side shifts. Adding side bends toward the extended leg helps illuminate the relationship between your hips, ribs, and spine. This isn’t just mobility, it’s coordination. You’ll then move into leg lifts, both seated and standing, to build active range of motion (AROM) and reinforce hip control under load. The class closes with seated Tree Pose side bends, inviting softness and integration after the work. The goal isn’t to force flexibility, it’s to create strength and orientation from your own central axis. Expect to feel grounded, stronger in your sides, and clearer about where your hips are in space, and how to move from them.Locked — subscribe to unlock
Lesson 3Mobile Roots
Video·16 min
Theme: Hip Flexibility + Neuromechanical Prep
Mobile Roots explores what it means to have freedom and feedback in your hips, so you’re not just flexible, but adaptable, supported, and clear in motion. This class is about preparing the nervous system to allow deeper access to the hips by combining gentle strength, sensory input, and calming techniques.
We begin with a wide-legged forward fold layered with twisting and humming, a powerful combination to lengthen the posterior chain while cueing the vagus nerve to soften resistance. Wall-supported spinal twists follow, encouraging rotation through the hips and thoracic spine in a grounded, supported way.
From there, we shift into a playful seated hip cradle, rocking your leg like a baby to increase joint awareness and parasympathetic tone. The final shape threads one arm through a hand-to-foot connection, adding complexity and an optional tongue drill to stimulate cranial nerves and further down-regulate tension.
This class invites both mobility and safety into your hips so they can become reliable roots for deeper postures like Compass Pose. Expect to feel looser through the hips, calmer in your system, and more attuned to how your body responds to subtle cues.Locked — subscribe to unlock
Lesson 4Arms That Reach You
Video·14 min
Theme: Shoulder Mobility + Supportive Strength
Arms That Reach You is a practice devoted to clearing a path through the shoulders, building the mobility and quiet strength needed to support deep shapes like Compass Pose. This class emphasises rotation, elongation, and the nervous system’s role in accessing overhead range with ease and integrity.
We begin with Puppy Pose, using a block to elevate the hand and invite a thoracic rotation that spirals through the upper body. With the leg placed on the wall for stability, we explore twisting away from the grounded leg, waking up the spiral lines that connect shoulder to hip. We layer on a lateral bend to expand the side body and introduce multi-directional support.
In the final progression, we incorporate a strap to guide the reaching arm, cultivating both feedback and freedom in overhead movement. Throughout, we prioritise quality of movement over quantity of range, reinforcing the shoulder’s role not just in reaching, but in anchoring and supporting complex poses. Expect to feel longer through the side body, more connected to your shoulders, and better equipped to reach with strength and clarity.Locked — subscribe to unlock
Lesson 5Compass Activation
Video·18 min
Theme: Putting it Together - A Flow
In Compass Activation, everything we’ve built so far, rotation, side body length, shoulder mobility, and hip clarity, comes together in a cohesive, flowing sequence that leads you confidently toward Compass Pose.
We begin standing with side bends and circular spinal movements to awaken the axis of your body. From there, we flow through familiar patterns: a fluid descent to the floor, a belly-down spinal twist with scorpion tail legs, and a twisted Downward Dog that invites length and rotation. These transitions prepare the body to step into Pyramid and Triangle, gradually increasing the complexity and demand on your rotational lines.
As the sequence builds, you’ll explore deeper expressions of Triangle Pose with arm reaches that mirror Compass mechanics. Finally, we come to the floor for a seated sway and transition into Compass Pose itself: supported, explored, and repeated on the second side.
This class is about trust: in your strength, your mobility, and your ability to move with precision.
Expect to feel integrated, awakened, and ready to meet the shape from the inside out.Locked — subscribe to unlock
